With three kids, it's hard having a stroller that will meet your needs.
First we had an old model Eddie Bauer stroller that served its purpose but was bulky and difficult to manuever.
As you can see, our then four year old is a little big to be in the stroller, but they get tired too. Also, we only had two kids back then and this stroller could only fit those two.
Here is our new stroller:
This is a Baby Trend Sit and Stand Stroller LX. There is the five point harness where the little one can sit (or if the baby is still in an infant seat, you can set it on the bench and secure it with a strap, which I've done). Another little one can sit on the bench seat. However, the best feature of all is this little platform in the back. This is the most versatile.
I've used it to put a shopping basket on while I'm in the store and even let the kids ride on it (although this is not recommended by the company that makes the stroller). We have a friend who had a normal stroller with a scooterboard-like attachment that let the kid roll behind the stroller, so that's where the idea came from. A lot of effort in pushing for the mama, but hey, we need our workout anyway we can get it!
I love how the front seat will fit Amelia for years to come. Also, the bench seat can hold either Carter or Coleman, because Coleman does not weigh much yet.
Another must have for the stroller is extra large caribiner, which I purchased in a set at Walmart for a few dollars. Here is the one I was looking for though-large carabiner clip. You can see I have just a few bags hanging from it- Coleman's backpack and my purse, and sometimes the diaper bag. You do need to be careful with loading the clip up with bags because the stroller will tip if there isn't any weight in front! Not that I've had experience with that or anything.
I use this stroller for short trips, when I need to drop off/pick up Coleman from school and quick shopping trips. I love it because it can be hard to get little ones moving fast anywhere- except of course you are in the toy aisle at Target.
Almost daily someone asks me about my stroller so I thought I would share it here. I bought mine at Target for For $130. I wasn't crazy about buying a new stroller for the third kiddo but it's worth its weight in gold.
