During my pregnancy with my daughter, I decided to use that extra hair growth for hair donation. I had already been growing out my hair anyway. In the past I have donated my hair to Locks of Love, but had been reading about this new program by Pantene called Beautiful Lengths. They work with HairUWear, a company that creates the wigs. The American Cancer Society to distributes them for free to women with cancer. My mom loved her real hair wigs so I wanted to donate in memory of her.

A ten inch ponytail was cut off. It will be one of six that creates a wig for a women who has gone through a lot. These real hair wigs help women feel normal again. So grow, cut and share!
